The Game-Changing Phrase That Helps You Conquer Life’s Biggest Challenges
There is a phrase I’ve adopted recently that has helped me in many circumstances. It’s especially useful when I decide to do something that I don’t fully know how to do (brave!), but then the new task starts to feel overwhelming (why did I decide to do this??). Writing this blog is an example (What am I going to write about this week?).
It also comes in handy when something unexpected is brought to me, or when there are just too many things swirling in my mind, both professionally and personally.
All these new experiences are uncomfortable. I remind myself that being “uncomfortable” means growth. While I do believe this to be true, it doesn’t always help my mindset when I am in the moment. But this phrase does.
I will figure it out.
There’s something about this phrase that calms me. It reminds me that I have figured things out my entire life. There have always been things I didn’t know and needed to learn, or times when I have felt overwhelmed.
“I will figure it out” reminds me that I am resourceful and capable. It reassures me that when I face new challenges, I am moving myself to new levels of development, tapping into creativity, and contributing in a more meaningful way.
This is you. illuminated.
